And just like that we are only a few weeks away from summer. So it felt right to share my current favorites, in this summer ready edition. From skincare and beauty hacks to Amazon finds, this post has my current MVPs just in time for summer.

Braun IPL Hair Removal —I purchased this IPL hair removal device in March, and my only regret is waiting this long to buy it. I’ve been using it consistently on my underarms and legs and I’m so thrilled with the results. Yes, it’s a splurge and you do have to use it consistently. Especially, for the first few months to see results. But, being hair free for summer is well worth the investment in my opinion. I also feel like IPL has improved the overall appearance of my skin, an added bonus.
Two piece coordinating set — Initially I ordered this set in a neutral color, but quickly realized that for summer a little color would work much better. I also ordered a medium for a more comfortable oversized fit. Last week, I wore it to Disneyland and plan to wear it to the beach. Also love that this piece works as separate. I paired with a white tank top and sneakers for a fun casual look, but could also see how it would work with a little wedge or heel and lots of jewelry for an afternoon outing.
Hexagonal Ray-Bans—These were a birthday gift to myself, and I have to say it feels really great to enter the summer with a new pair of shades. It instantly makes your outfits feel new. These ray-bans were on my wish list for a while, and I love the shape. For an oval and long face like mine, the popular round ray-bans didn’t quite work, but these are perfect. I love the gold frames for an added touch of bling for the summer. Maybe it’s the Jersey shore girl in me.

Speaking of Jersey girl vibes, or maybe just East Coast girl vibes, these hoops were on my list and I finally got a pair. Lightweight, easy everyday pair of hoops are so perfect for being summer ready.
I shared on Instagram, but my girlfriends gifted me the ClareV grand fanny bag and it’s the perfect bag for being hands free at the park to the airport or just shopping in the city. The size is perfect for fitting all of my essentials, I don’t have to worry about having pockets and it can be carried at your waist or across the body. It also comes in brown. If they make it in white or cream I will definitely order another one.
A recent Amazon find were these dupes for the Loeffler Randall Penny Sage Pleated Bow Heel. I ordered the lookalikes immediately and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Definitely worth getting the dupe, though down the line if I end up wearing these more often I think splurging on the real thing would be worth the money. I love the feminine touch these add to any dress or jean outfit.
I was gifted the Kiehl’s micro-dose anti-aging retinol serum and I’ve been absolutely loving it. Every single morning after using the serum my skin feels dewy and glowy. I have sensitive skin so I have not yet graduated to RetrinA, so this retinol option is perfect if you’re looking to start an anti-aging routine.

Speaking of anti-aging and dewy skin. I have to say my new beauty hack of mixing foundation with sunscreen has been a true game changer. I’ve been alternating between SuperGoop Glow Screen and Elta MD tinted sunscreen and I’ve started to get compliments on my skin. With supergoop I apply it before foundation and with Elta MD I mix my foundation with it and I love the dewy and glowy finish. I use a tiny amount and get an even glowy skin. LOVE.
The true MVP of summer and vacation vibes has been my Lack of Colors Palma Boater. I was looking for a very wide brim and something a bit more substantial to protect my face, neck and chest area and I love how stylish this hat is. A little heavy at first, but the medium size stays on my head even on windy days. Worth the buy, especially if you’re going on a summer getaway.
