It could be a great coincidence or just incredible luck, but just as I became a mom to a toddler, flats are all the rage for spring. If you noticed, most of the models during Fashion Week wore either sneakers or flats. So, it’s safe to assume that comfort is finally making its fashion debut. I say, this spring we should all wear flats, and let our feet rest for a change! Here are the three flats you need for spring.
Sneakers, mules and ballet inspired flats are three styles to incorporate into your spring wardrobe.
Look for neutral or metallic colors with a bit of flair. Cap metallic toe, patent leather, exaggerated platforms on sneakers, fur on mules are all the rage. I’m loving these patent leather mules and the pink sneakers GuiltySoles.com sent to me. If you’re looking for inexpensive, stylish footwear you’ll find them here!
Sneakers
You don’t even need to have on athleisure to pull off wearing sneakers. I’m really loving the trend of wearing sneaks with raw hem jeans. These cap toe sneakers I have are comfortable and stylish—and at a great price point! Here are a few others I’m loving at the moment:
Ballet Inspired Lace up Flats
This is one trend that is not going away anytime soon. Remember my Miu Miu inspired DIY from last fall? GuiltySoles have quite a few flats that are on trend. Lace up and or studded flats are all still comfortable alternatives for flats that you can wear to work and the playground.
Mules
This might be one of my favorite trends this year. Cute and comfy shoes you can simply slide your feet into and look put together? Yes. Please. You can find mules anywhere from Target to Gucci. My patent leather mules are from GuiltySoles, and they come in rose gold, that I’m also loving.
