But, after seeing Pistola Denim all over my feed, I was intrigued. So I finally decided to try the brand for myself. I tested several of their best-selling styles to see if they really live up to the hype.

Why I Wanted to Try Pistola Denim
Founded in Los Angeles in 2013 by Grace Na, Pistola Denim has become known for creating modern, elevated denim with a designer look—without the designer price tag. The brand focuses on premium fabrics, flattering fits, and timeless silhouettes that work for everyday wear.
One thing that immediately stood out to me was that the company was founded by a woman and designs specifically with women’s bodies in mind. Their jeans feel thoughtfully made while remaining more affordable than luxury denim brands.
The Pistola Denim Jeans I Tried and My Honest Review
I tried several Pistola Denim jeans, in variety of colors, trends and styles. Overall, I found all of the jeans to be true to my usual denim size. They were also soft without being stretchy and exceptionally comfortable. I posted a review on my Instagram Page, if you like to take a look.
Lana High Rise
These were an instant favorite for me. They fit true to size, and the high rise wide leg style denim is perfect for someone petite (I’m 5’2), because it instantly elongates your legs and you appear taller and slender.
This is a great pair of jeans for date night, as I find them to be a little more structured and the dark wash is perfect for evenings.
The sizing was great in all of the Pistola jeans I tried on. I found that my regular size worked perfectly in every style.
Lexi Mid Rise Bowed Straight – Bowie
This pair of jeans was a perfect mix between slightly bowed and boyfriend style jeans. I am 5’2 so on me they do not look cropped like they do on the model, but I still found them to be extremely comfortable, especially for casual everyday outfits. A perfect, everyday pair of jeans that you can breath in, without them losing their shape.
Charlie High Rise Straight – Augustus
These were another great pair of dark wash jeans. I found them to be extremely flattering. I also loved that they hit me right at the ankle, and I did not have to cut a raw hem or get them tailored.

How Does Pistola Denim Fit?
I ordered my usual size in each pair and didn’t need to size up or down. The denim felt structured enough to hold its shape but still soft and comfortable thanks to a small amount of stretch.
If you’re looking to add fashion forward, comfortable jeans that are made of quality denim, I would recommend trying a pair of their best sellers.
