Something about wearing a winter white wool coat in the winter makes me feel the most put together. Even when I’m wearing a basic black sweater, jeans and a pump. It’s so regal and wintery white, that it immediately feels dressy, without even trying.
I’ve been on the hunt for a white wool coats this season, after realizing that the last wool coat I purchased is about 10 years old. It’s a classic, double breasted black wool coat. It goes to my mid calves, has slight flair on the bottom and a belt. It’s the kind of coat one has forever. I’m still not sick of it, and when the weather is right and I’m heading out, it’s still the one that I reach for. Which is how I started to think about adding a few more to the mix. It’s a wise investment, since the last one lasted for so long.

I decided to go with a winter white wool coat, and I love the black buttons and the raised collar of this one. I also recently purchased a red coat, which I am totally obsessed with. I found it at a local BB Dakota sample sale. This exact style is gone, but I found some amazing white wool coats I love.
