Here is how to make the best acai bowl recipe at home. This is my take on the classic jamba juice acai bowl recipe with a few healthy additions grown up and kids will love. It’s a weekend staple in our house.

- acai puree packet ( find it in the frozen fruit aisle)
- bananas
- frozen or fresh berries
- peanut butter
- almond milk, coconut milk or any liquid of your choice!

How to Make an Acai Bowl at Home
I switched up my breakfast routine from the avocado and runny egg on toast, (which I’ve probably eaten everyday for like a year), to a delicious acai breakfast bowl.
Does anything else give you tropical vacay vibes like an acai smoothie bowl? Well, maybe a fruity drink with an umbrella, but that’s not an appropriate breakfast option, unless of course you are on a tropical vacation. Step 1
I use my ninja to quickly blend all of the ingredients together, you could use a food processor or a blender. But if you’re in the market for a new one, I can’t recommend the ninja highly enough—I use it for everything, on the daily!

This recipe makes for two bowls. Pour the pureed mixture into two bowls and then add the toppings. You can change toppings, include chia seeds or flax seed, or anything else you like.
