Let’s be honest. It’s delicious, but it’s not the most healthiest summer cocktail you can make.

How To Make a Mango Margarita?

Typically a mango margarita is served blended. Which is the version I enjoy the most.

It’s just so perfectly frosty and tart and sweet.

But, you can also serve this mango margarita on the rocks.

Either way you choose, it’s going to be delicious.

 Make a Mango Margarita

Ingredients (makes two cocktails)

  • 1 fresh mango, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups ice
  • 4 oz tequila
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp sea salt
  • 2 lime wedges for garnish

Directions:

To make a blended margarita

  1. Place the mango, tequila and lime in a blender filled with ice and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the sea salt on a bottom of a small plate. Rim the glass generously with a lime wedge and then dip the glass into the salt, twisting the glass to coat the rim generously with salt.
  3. Pour the mango mix, garnish with a lime and enjoy!

To make the mango margarita on the rocks

  1. Place mango chunks in a blender filled with ice and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the sea salt on a bottom of a small plate. Rim the glass generously with a lime wedge and then dip the glass into the salt, twisting the glass to coat the rim generously with salt.
  3. Fill glass with ice, pour tequila, mango mixture and lime into a glass. Stir, garnish with a lime and enjoy!
