However, I prefer spiced rum, whiskey or bourbon. You can also try vodka, or even flavored vodka.

For a less boozy hot chocolate you can add Baileys Irish Cream, Amaretto or Kahlua. These are liquors that have less alcohol content, but lots of flavor.

Start with a cup of hot chocolate. Add 2 oz of alcohol of your choice. Add whip cream, top with a few marshmallows and top with your favorite treats. Pop in a cookie stirrer and some chocolate shavings to complete your cocktail.
