Welcome to this blog’s new series titled Workwear Wednesday. In this series, I’ll share work wear looks and outfit inspo to help find comfortable, chic and easy pieces for…drum roll please…you guessed it.. work! While I no longer have a 9-5, I remember the struggle of figuring out what to wear. Some days I’d be excited to wear something new I bought over the weekend, but other times I would be dreading it.
A few weeks ago, when I had to find some business casual outfits I immediately thought of these pants. I truly think they can be flattering on everyone. The add a little curve to those who need it, but they also help define the waist for those who might be on the curvier side.
The following day I wore jeans, and let me tell you I have no idea why I wore jeans to work to sit around all day.
So not comfortable.
I honestly wished I wore these pants again.

For a business environment I like pairing these paper bag pants with a loose top. The top in the photo was a TJ Maxx find from a few months earlier, but I found a very similar here.
If the air conditioner is on blast, a light blazer is great to complete the look. I love a white blazer in general. I actually have two, and wear both a lot.
A sandal with a block heel is comfortable and still makes this look workwear appropriate. But you could totally wear flats or mules with this, or higher heels.
What do you guys think? Want me to keep Work Wear Wednesdays series around?
Such a cute look, and loving that jacket! What a great series! I don’t have a 9-5 anymore either and sometimes getting out of that rhythm leaves me wondering what to wear when I do have a meeting! 🙂
That looks like a really nice outfit. The white blazer would suit my sister well, because she is tall and slim. I am a little on the chubby side and white makes me look bigger. I love the pants and the printed top though.
A white blazer doesn’t work with my job (mom and PB&J maker, but it’s so sophisticated. I would love to have one just for the times when I get out without the kids!
