Tinto De Verano Cocktail Recipe

Easy summer red wine recipe called Tinto de Verano which translates to summer wine and is made with red wine and citrus soda.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz red wine
  • 2 oz citrus soda
  • 1 lemon wedge

Method
 

  1. Add ice to a rock glass.
  2. Add equal parts wine and then soda to your glass.
  3. Stir gently.
  4. Add a slice of lemon and enjoy.

Notes

Traditionally this drink is made with La Casera, Spanish lime soda, but any citrus bubbly soda works with this easy cocktail.
For this recipe, you can choose any soda you like. Popular options are soda water, flavored lemon soda water, sprite, fresca, and my personal favorite, ginger ale.
