Matcha Green Tea Energy Bites

No bake, delicious and nutritious energy bites recipe for a make ahead snack with green tea matcha!


  • 6 pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup peanut or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded coconut flakes


  • Add dates, peanut butter, chia seed, coconut oil
    and 2 tablespoons of green tea powder to a food processor.
    Mix until the mixture is relatively blended. Take out the blade. Then gather small bites of "batter" by hand and roll into a ball.
    If the mixture falls apart, refrigerate for 15 minutes and try again.
    Roll the bites in a mix of green tea matcha powder and coconut flakes to finish. Eat immediately or store in the fridge to enjoy later!
