Method
- In a pitcher, muddle the seeded jalapeño slices.
- Add tequila and agave and stir to combine.
- Pour the sea salt on a bottom of a small plate. Rim the glass with a lime wedge and then dip the glass into the salt, twisting the glass to coat the rim generously with salt.
- Fill the glasses with ice, pour the tequila jalapeño mix evenly between the two glasses.
- Top with fresh lime juice.
Notes
- For a less strong margarita add a few tablespoons of sparkling soda
- For a more sweet version add a tablespoon of orange juice
- For more spice add additional slices of jalapeño with seeds to the drink
- Use sugar instead of sea salt for a sweeter version of the cocktail.
