Mess Free Easter Crafting Fun with Your Toddler

This post is sponsored by Happy Egg Co, and all opinions are my own.

On Thursdays, Fernando doesn’t have preschool and I’m off too, so it’s our day that we spend together. I like to come up with something fun for us to do in the afternoon, and typically it’s some kind of activity or craft. With Easter around the corner, decorating eggs seemed like a no-brainer until I thought about all the mess. Dying eggs with a toddler did not sound fun, so I did the next best thing. I simplified it and made it toddler friendly. Read on for mess free Easter crafting fun with your toddler.

The best part about this craft idea is that I didn’t have to go far to get the supplies. We picked up some Happy Eggs from Ralph’s – these eggs are always in our fringe. Their eggs are free range, organic and full of vitamins. Plus, we are egg people. On most mornings, all three of us start our day with an egg breakfast. For Mau and I it’s usually avocado toast, topped with a fried egg and for Fernando, he loves them hard-boiled or scrambled. That makes this mama happy because we are all getting a healthy breakfast.

I’ve been out of the Easter decorating game for a little while now, but I was happy to find that there are countless of kits out there to get your creative juices flowing. I found a tons of stickers and also adhesives foam decals that were easy for Fernando to decorate.
(Some of the kits came with dye, and I ended up coloring a few eggs while he napped. But let me tell you, I made a mess. So I can only image how this would have played out if I decided to let Fernando play with the dye.)

It was fun to watch him decide which egg and how he wanted to decorate and I was also excited to incorporate his Happy Egg masterpieces into my easter decor. I can’t wait for everyone to see our Easter table and show Fernando’s handy work. I think he may also be pretty stoked to see his craft at the table.

I had a lot of fun playing around with our Happy Eggs and styling our table for Easter. You can pick up your Happy Eggs at your local store and have some fun too. but, be sure to save some eggs for consumption, because they’re delicious!
besos,
Alina
