What to Wear to a New Year’s Eve Party

The ultimate edit for what to wear to a New Year’s Eve party . Hint, you can’t go with sequins.

Outfit Ideas for New Year’s Eve Party

In regular life, I’m definitely not a girl who wears a long of gold sequin mini dresses, but for New Year’s it sets the perfect tone for a night of celebrating. Just a little sparkle goes a long way. You can wear a sequin dress, or opt for just pants, skirt or a blazer with a little sparkle.

What to wear New Year's Eve

This year I am going full sequins. I’ve worn a sequined top before, and a bottom. But, I have never worn a dress that is entirely sequin. To go full sequin one needs to either be performing a concert or going to a NYE party.

And this year I’m going to a NYE party (!) So I thought not only will I rock all sequin, but I’ll also share the what to wear to a New Year’s Eve Party, (in case you’re also deciding on what kind of girl you’re going to be in the New Year).

Another option is to add just a little sparkle. For example in silver sequin blazer paired with all white or all black outfit. A sequin pant paired with a camisole and a black blazer for a more subtle look.

I love the idea of adding just a little sparkle in a shoe or trouser for a comfortable and chic New year’s eve party

My new years will be spent at home with an infant, so no fancy clothes for me, but I love that little black dress!
