When overalls first popped up for retail, I may have rolled my eyes. I already spent most of the late nineties wearing them with cropped tops with embroidered sunflowers, boxers that would prominently stick out on the sides of the too-low overalls, and the ultra loose pant legs cuffed to show off my fresh-to-death Reeboks.
I wish I had a photo to show you how true this is, or maybe it’s better that I don’t.
Now that it’s been several months since I first spotted overall for sale, I can’t help to remember how comfortable I felt in them.
It’s really a perfect brunch outfit, you can eat and drink to your hearts desire (which is the purpose of brunch), and the little flap on the front will hide all your sins.
This time around, the overalls are a bit more sleek, and actually when paired with some great heels, statement jewels and understated top—they really work.

Can’t wait to debut my 2000’s overalls look, with just a simple tee, chunky jewels and some strappy heels.
Happy Shopping,

I’m pretty sure I still have an old pair hiding out in the back of my closest somewhere. I was just waiting for the day when they made a comeback, but they are not nearly as chic as the ones that are out now. It may be time to upgrade!!
I love this look! I may just bring this back. Some gold hoops and a heel- Super cute
You’re so right, how could I forget the gold hoops!
