Closet inspiration

I’ve been  complaining about our closet for a few years now, and pinning closet inspiration and ideas. But, as far as home improvement projects go, this one has been low on our list. Also, closets are expensive! I could seriously buy myself an entire new wardrobe Carrie Bradshaw would envy, for the amount of money it would cost to organize the clothes I already have, and feel lukewarm about.

I love our home, but lack of storage drives me nuts at times. My most recenCheck out these closet inspiration designs and ideas, and learn about my plan to turn the space we have into a stylish inspiring closet.t solution is to buy clear bins and store some items in the attic. We’re both sure we have an attic, but neither one of us has even peeked up there since we moved in almost 4 years ago. Full disclosure: I’m a little scared of what or who could be up there.

So, the second option is to do our best to use the space we have (and not afraid to enter). To start, I ordered a very basic ClosetMaid system from Home Depot. Hopefully, installing drawers and extra hanging rods will help us get organized. I plan to add other pieces from ClosetMaid, as needed. Going the DIY route will ultimately save us a couple of thousand bucks, so there is a huge difference between doing it yourself or building customized closets. I’ll post the before and after photos once I tackle this. Wish me luck.

For now, here are some photos that I found inspiring. Although, I’m already day dreaming about a walk-in closet/ office space in our new home (one day).

Besos,

Alina
