The Basics You Need to Transition into Fall

It’s hard to think ahead for fall in the middle of the heat wave that we’ve been experiencing here, but mentally I’m so ready to layer up and switch up my closet for the cooler temps. While I’m not quite ready for sweater weather and pumpkin everything, I’ve started to slowly pick up a few new things to mix with items I already have. There is definitely no need to overhaul your entire wardrobe, instead I like to find a few trendy pieces to add to the classics I’ve already have. Here are the basics you need to transition into fall, that won’t have you looking like a basic 🙂

[Details:  sunnies (similar), top (super cheap and comfy) , bag, jeans (sold out, similar) , mules (comfy as heck and currently on sale under $50!)]

Even if you weren’t into mules when they first came out last year, this time around you really can’t escape them. Personally, they’re such a great answer for comfortable yet stylish, which is my ultimate life goal. They work with dresses, jeans, skirts. I’m loving the embroidered trend, but for mules I like to keep it simple, so that they can become that everyday basic for fall. I’m loving these velvet ones and they’re under $100, and I’m also thinking of getting these in a beige/pink tone, also under $100, since I already have these in black and they are seriously so comfortable.

This is also a good time to buy up some denim, I live in these jeans and they are on sale for $35 bucks right now!! I can’t say enough about this brand, and their jeans are always on sale!

A good blazer is an ideal basic for layering. I’m crushing on this one super hard, but might settle for a the Target version ( and get it tailored). Also, loving everything over at Zara right now, and dying over this blazer and also H&M is killing it this season. You don’t have to spend a fortune to look trendy with these fun basics.

What are some of the trends or basics you’re looking to get this season?
