Five Dresses To Rock This NYE

This year I am going full sequins. I’ve worn a sequined top before, and a bottom. But, I have never worn a dress that is entirely sequins. To go full sequins one needs to either be performing a concert or going to a NYE party. And this year I’m going to a NYE party (!) So I thought not only will I rock all sequins, but I’ll also share the five dresses to rock this NYE (in case you’re also deciding on what kind of girl you’re going to be in the New Year).

what to wear on NYE

I didn’t want to spend  a lot because I likely won’t wear this dress again. So I found one that’s under $30! Totally doable for a one-time thing. Mine was a Nordstrom rack find from a few months back, but so you don’t have to go hunting through racks, I thought I’d share some of my favorite dresses from Shein. If you’re not sure about ordering online from sheinofficial, I wrote about shopping their site before here. I love this site for inexpensive, trendy pieces and order from them often. If you want the dress by NYE though, order fast because shipping does take a few weeks!

The Sequined Goddess
SHEIN Iridescent Sequin Dress

The best part about this sequined dress is not that it’s only $30 bucks, but that it’s long sleeve. This means no chafing from all that glittery sequins because you’re all covered up. Plus I love that it’s iridescent. If this isn’t a perfect NYE dress I don’t know what is! Click here to see more of this dress.

I also really love this one, the color is so unique. And this black one is a bit more on the classic NYE dress, and those sleeves are really flattering if you don’t like showing off your arms! This champagne one is also so pretty

The Wrap Dress Queen

SHEIN Knot Side Surplice Wrap Dress

You already know I love wrap dresses, and this satin one is too pretty not to rock on NYE. It’s so different, yet really NYE with the shimmer and also that shoulder detail is beautiful.  Click here to find out the price. Hint, it’s under $25! This satin one in red is also stunning.

Or, you could combine a little shimmer with your wrap dress, like this.

The Velvet Siren

Velvet is definitely the material of the season, so wearing a velvet dress on NYE would be perfect, a simple dress like this can really make you standout. This faux wrap velvet dress would be so flattering on anyone.

Lady in Red

My mother in law always says to put on red underwear so that you would have good luck all year. I have no idea where this superstition comes from, but it seems every culture has a fascination with red, so it’s perfect for NYE.

I love the detail of this body con dress, it makes it so much more festive and interesting. Also, obsessed with the sleeves of this lace number.

The Classic Girl

I think this is such a classic dress, with a modern twist. It’s the kind of dress you could actually wear again. A dress you could dress up or down. But, also loving this classic play on a tuxedo with this sexy number, what do you think?

This one is a cute option, especially if you’re looking for a bit more coverage and to be comfortable.

I’d love to hear which kind of girl you are for NYE! Sometimes, I’m a pajama and stay at home girl, but not this year! Where ever you go, or whatever you do, hope you have the very best NYE and an even better New Year!

My new years will be spent at home with an infant, so no fancy clothes for me, but I love that little black dress!
